Campers immerse themselves in the dynamic environment of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, where outdoor play meets ecological education. Activities will include hiking, biking, habitat exploration, creative nature-based projects, and recreational games throughout the preserve. This camp highlights Coler’s vibrant ecosystem while helping kids build confidence, independence, and a love for adventure!
Explore It All! Summer Camp
Youth: Ages 7-12

Designed for campers who want to explore all that the Peel Compton Foundation has to offer! This multi-site adventure will take place across Osage Park, Peel Museum & Botanical Garden, and Coler MTB Preserve.
Campers will get the chance to immerse themselves in a variety of outdoor experiences, from hands-on nature exploration to fun recreation and unique challenges, while discovering the beauty and diversity of these special places. It’s the perfect opportunity for kids to broaden their outdoor skills, deepen their appreciation for local natural spaces, and create unforgettable summer memories!

Woodland Expedition
Explore the woodlands of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve during a one-day field trip focused on forest ecosystems, wildlife, water cycles, geology, and human impact. Students will engage in hands-on learning about creek science, fossils, and the importance of conservation and recycling.
