School Days at the Peel Museum

Step back in time during this immersive field trip for 4th grade students, where history comes alive at Peel Museum & Botanical Garden. Through hands-on stations led by local museums, artists, and volunteers, students will explore blacksmithing, textile making, homesteading, music, and key moments in Arkansas history.

Wetland Expedition
Dive into the unique ecosystems of the Osage Park Wetlands through a one-day field trip exploring wetland wildlife, food chains, watershed systems, and human impact. Students will investigate erosion, water cycles, invasive species, and the role wetlands play in environmental conservation.
Woodland Expedition
Explore the woodlands of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve during a one-day field trip focused on forest ecosystems, wildlife, water cycles, geology, and human impact. Students will engage in hands-on learning about creek science, fossils, and the importance of conservation and recycling.
Kids Nature Classes at Osage Park
Designed for homeschooled students ages 6–12, this two-hour outdoor program explores topics like wetlands, wildlife adaptations, plant identification, and prairie conservation. With hands-on activities such as bug catching, building animal shelters, and designing waterways, students connect with nature while learning about Arkansas ecosystems.
Kids Nature Classes at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve
This two-hour outdoor class for homeschooled students ages 6–12 offers hands-on learning in two age-based groups. Activities include using a compass, building shelters, practicing outdoor ethics, identifying plants and birds, and exploring the creek ecosystem.
Homeschool Archery Club
Join our Homeschool Archery Club, a welcoming and relaxed space for homeschool families to connect and enjoy the sport of archery together! This club is open to all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned archers. Whether you’re just curious about trying something new or looking to improve your aim, this is the perfect opportunity to have fun and build skills in a safe, supportive environment.
