In this interactive workshop, you’ll work with an experienced instructor to learn each step—from measuring and preparing strands to laying out, serving, and finishing. While you won’t build a full finished string, you’ll gain practical insight into how continuous loop strings are constructed and why many archers prefer this style for durability and performance.
A two-hour outdoor class for homeschoolers ages 6–12, packed with nature-based learning like shelter building, compass use, plant ID, birding, and more. $20 per child.

This program is a two-hour nature class designed for homeschooled students ages 6-12. Objectives include learning about our watershed system, designing your own waterways, learning about the wetland ecosystem at Osage Park, discovering wildlife and their adaptations, learning the seven principles of outdoor ethics, animal shelter building, plant identification, prairie conservation, bug catching and more!
