Nature Classes
This two-hour program is designed for homeschooled students ages 6-12 and provides an engaging and educational outdoor experience. Students will learn about a variety of fascinating topics, including our watershed system, designing their own waterways, and exploring the wetland ecosystem at Osage Park. They’ll also discover wildlife and their unique adaptations, build animal shelters, identify plants, learn about prairie conservation, and enjoy activities like bug catching. This program offers an excellent opportunity for children to connect with nature and gain hands-on knowledge about the environment.
Beaver Tales with Bentonville Public Library
Books, songs, movement activities, and more – All ages welcome!
Join Bentonville Public Library librarians and Osage staff as they weave traditional story time fun with exciting tales about our unique wetland park. This program is designed to accommodate a range of ages, so bring the whole crew! Beaver Tales will take place outdoors at the Osage Main Pavilion. Don’t forget to bring a blanket to sit on!
Explore Osage Summer Camps
Let your kids have the best week ever at Osage Park this summer as we embark on an exciting journey through the wild wetlands, discovering this unique natural space right at our fingertips! Each day, we will engage in recreation activities exclusive to Osage Park, including archery at The Quiver Archery Range, along with other fun activities. Daily activities will include wetland and prairie conservation, animal identification and shelter building, nature art, fishing, pickleball games, water games, and archery for all skill levels. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to connect with nature, stay active, and explore the wonders of Osage Park.
Osage Nature Day Camp – Spring Break
Give your kids the chance to unplug, explore, and connect with nature during Spring Break at Osage Park! Designed for young adventurers aged 7-12, this day camp is packed with exciting outdoor activities in the heart of the wetlands. Campers will engage in wetland ecosystems with nature crafts, wetland engineering, plant identification, wildlife shelter building, bird watching, and much more. Along the way, they’ll learn about leave-no-trace ethics and discover the wonders of the natural world!

Join us for a relaxed and engaging conversation over coffee with the site managers At Osage Park—free of charge! This is a great opportunity to learn about the park’s unique wetland ecosystem, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and ask any questions about conservation efforts, wildlife, and upcoming projects. Whether you’re a regular visitor or new to the park, this informal gathering is the perfect way to connect with our team and your fellow nature enthusiasts. Coffee will be provided, or you can bring your own!

Take your wetland exploration to the next level with our exclusive Off the Boardwalk Tours! Join our site managers at Osage Park for a free guided adventure beyond the usual paths. Perfect for nature lovers and curious minds alike, this tour offers an intimate, hands-on experience to deepen your connection with the natural world.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, Coach Kip will guide you through essential techniques and strategies tailored to your level.
