DESCRIPTION:Celebrate International Beaver Day at Osage Park with a community-wide fundraiser supporting the park’s wetlands\, wildlife\, and long-term care. Help us reach our goal of raising $5\,000 in one day to protect and preserve this vital natural space. Stop by the pavilion from 11 AM–2 PM for interactive activities\, prizes\, community partners\, and a special Beaver Tracks ice cream flavor. \nIn addition to the day’s fundraising efforts\, guests can register for special programs\, including a beaver-themed Kids Nature Class and an evening Nocturnal Tour to discover the beavers who call Osage Park home. DESCRIPTION:Register for all six Nature Classes as a session for just $100 per child\, or join as a drop-in for $20 per child per class. \nThis program is a two-hour nature class designed for homeschooled students ages 6-12. \nObjectives include learning about our watershed system\, designing your own waterways\, learning about the wetland ecosystem at Osage Park\, discovering wildlife and their adaptations\, learning the seven principles of outdoor ethics\, animal shelter building\, plant identification\, prairie conservation\, bug catching and more! \nParents may drop off students promptly at 9am and pick up by 11am. \n  \nSign Up Now \n  \n
