DESCRIPTION:Ages: 7-12\, $190/week\nJuly 13th-17th\n8:00am-12:00pm \nCampers immerse themselves in the dynamic environment of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve\, where outdoor play meets ecological education. Activities will include hiking\, biking\, habitat exploration\, creative nature-based projects\, and recreational games throughout the preserve. This camp highlights Coler’s vibrant ecosystem while helping kids build confidence\, independence\, and a love for adventure! \nDaily activities can include:  \n\nBiking (Must provide own gear\, one day only on Friday)\nWellness and mindfulness through yoga and meditation\nNature Art\nLeave No Trace Outdoor Ethics\nCreek and Critter Exploration\nPlant and wildlife Identification\nShelter Building & Survival Skills\n\nBreakfast and lunch are not provided. We will offer a mid-morning snack\, but we encourage campers to bring their own due to allergies or personal preferences. Every day is packed with action\, team challenges\, and awards! \nWhat to Expect: Our coaches\, all USA Archery & Safesport Certified\, will guide campers through all the essential archery skills with a focus on range safety\, shooting form\, equipment knowledge\, and scoring. Plus\, each day includes exciting new activities that will have campers aiming for personal bests! \nCamp Breakdown: \n\nMonday – Range Safety Challenge\nCampers will kick off the week by learning essential range safety while warming up with stretches to keep them injury-free. They’ll dive into scoring techniques and participate in activities that put their skills to the test.\nTuesday – Shooting Form Challenge\nSafety drills and warm-ups continue\, but this day is all about mastering shooting form! Campers will fine-tune their technique through competitive activities that reinforce each step in the shooting process.\nWednesday – Equipment Exploration Challenge\nCampers will explore the evolution of archery equipment\, learning about ancient tools to modern-day bows. They’ll try both basic compound and recurve bows while learning key terminology related to the equipment. This hands-on experience will deepen their understanding of the gear they use.\nThursday – Shot Execution Challenge\nCampers will master the art of shooting with focus and precision\, learning breathing techniques to stay calm and shoot accurately under pressure. Through exciting distraction challenges\, they’ll strengthen their mental game\, building confidence while perfecting their shot and rhythm in an engaging\, high-energy environment!\nFriday – Scoring Challenge & Tournament\nThe week wraps up with a review of scoring techniques followed by a friendly\, action-packed tournament!
