Get your students out of the classroom and learning outside! Our Expedition Field Trips immerse 5th and 6th grade students in outdoor educational experiences and hands-on activities at our Wetland Expeditions at Osage Park and Woodland Expeditions at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve.

School Days at the Peel Museum

Be a part of one of Bentonville’s most treasured educational events! School Days has been hosted at Peel Museum & Botanical Garden for nearly 20 years, welcoming 4th grade students and their teachers to dive into the rich history of Northwest Arkansas and life in the 1800s.

School Tours at the Peel Museum

Tour Peel Museum & Botanical Garden as a class! The historic Peel Family home and it’s seven Victorian-inspired gardens offer a unique way to examine the history of Northwest Arkansas through excavated objects, artifacts from the 1800s, and even plants!

Kids Nature Classes at Osage Park

This two-hour program is designed for homeschooled students ages 6-12 and provides an engaging and educational outdoor experience. Students will learn about a variety of fascinating topics, including our watershed system, designing their own waterways, and exploring the wetland ecosystem at Osage Park. They’ll also discover wildlife and their unique adaptations, build animal shelters, identify plants, learn about prairie conservation, and enjoy activities like bug catching. This program offers an excellent opportunity for children to connect with nature and gain hands-on knowledge about the environment.

Kids Nature Classes at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve

This program is a two-hour nature class designed for homeschooled students ages 6-12, who will be divided into two age groups 6-9 and 10-12.

Objectives include learning to use a compass, learning to work as a team by building a shelter together, learning the seven principles of outdoor ethics, plant identification, birding, creek activities, and more!

Homeschool Recreational Archery

Join us for our Homeschool Archery Drop-In Class, offered twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays! This hour-long class is designed for children ages 8 and up, focusing on learning archery through engaging games and fun activities. Whether you’re new to archery or looking to sharpen your skills, this class provides a relaxed, supportive environment where kids can enjoy practicing while building confidence and precision.
