This week-long camp is designed to get kids active and outside! Each day will focus on learning and practicing a new outdoor skill in exciting ways while being immersed in nature at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve.

Ages: 12-16, $250/week or $60/day

Summer Dates: June 5th-9th & July 10th-14th, 2024
Every day from 8am to 12pm

Send your kids to Osage Park for Summer Break! In this educational camp experience, Kids will embark on hands-on adventures, exploring the wetlands and learning archery at The Quiver archery range. Throughout the week, they’ll learn many new skills that will be put to the test in an Olympic-style competition
at the end of the week!

Meet the Camp Instructors

Scott Dirksen, Senior Program Manager
He/Him

Scott has over 15 years experience working in the outdoor recreation and education industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as program manager. He loves teaching people new things and sharing his love for the outdoors. When Scott isn’t at Coler, you’ll find him sharing time with his family outside and searching for his next ice climbing adventure.

Scott’s certifications include: Bicycle Instructor Certification Program Level 1 Mountain Bike Instructor, NOLS Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Trainer.

Fun Fact: “I was bitten by a shark and had 160 stitches.”

Whitney Welch, Program Specialist
She/Her

Whitney brings over four years of experience in the outdoor recreation and education industry. She studied natural resource ecology management and conservation and utilizes that knowledge to teach others the important role our natural landscape plays. When she’s not at Osage Park, you can find her adventuring outdoors with her two dogs.

Whitney’s certifications include: Certified USA Archery Level 2 Instructor, NAI Certified Interpretive Guide, First Aid Certified

Fun Fact: “I broke my back going cliff-jumping on my first date with my, now, fiancé….”
