Storm Clean-Up Volunteering
On the morning of May 26, 2024, Bentonville and the surrounding communities experienced a severe storm that inflicted substantial damage across Northwest Arkansas. The Peel Compton Foundation properties, including The Peel Museum & Botanical Garden, Compton Gardens, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, and Osage Park, were all affected to varying degrees.
We are thrilled to announce that we’re finally ready to welcome volunteers to help clean up
Coler Mountain Bike Preserve.
Where: Coler Grove Pavilion
When: Saturday, June 8th at 9am (weather pending).
What to Wear: Sturdy shoes, long sleeves, and pants
What to Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray, eye protection, gloves, loppers, pruners, rakes, wagons.
No chainsaws, please.
Areas of Focus: The Campground, The Plaza, and Airship Coffee

• All volunteers must sign a liability waiver. You can fill out a digital copy here.
• Volunteers must be 14 years or older due to safety concerns.
• Use your best judgement and be mindful that while the area is safer, there may still be hazards.
